Oh, but it's a jolly fine home indeed! SNAPtivities is the name, and it brings with it a most sensible approach to sport. Through its splendid programs, SNAP Flag Football and Girls Take the Field, it teaches children more than just how to run and catch a ball. It teaches them to be confident and build good character, both on the field and off. Truly, it’s about giving every child a chance to shine.

Since 2020, a truly brilliant idea took flight right here in Michigan: Girls Take the Field. It’s the very first flag football league just for girls, and It’s more than just a game!  It provides a proper playing field of their own where the girls can develop their skills, become leaders, compete with great confidence, and make friendships that will last a lifetime.

SNAP Flag Football: More than a game

Now, for the boys and girls, there's the SNAP Flag Football program, an official NFL Flag League serving the Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills communities. From the tiniest tots to the middle-schoolers, everyone is welcome! They learn the game in a way that's just right for their age. With small teams and kind, trained coaches, it’s a wonderful place where children learn to love the game, adore their team, and grow into fine young individuals.

For over 40 years, an educator and coach named Genevieve Caffelli has been the guiding force behind all this. SNAPtivities was her vision, and she’s brought so much joy to over 45,000 children across Southeast Michigan. The mission is quite simple, really: to develop Strong, coNfident kids through Active Play and Positive Coaching. Whether it’s a sports league, a creative class, or a birthday party, SNAPtivities always blends fun with a good bit of purpose.

SNAPtivities was founded by Genevieve Caffelli over 35 years ago and has served more than 45,000 children.    Coach Genevieve delivers over three decades of community sports experience with a focus on fun, inclusive, and character-driven flag football.
